squidball snack china
The name of this didnt help things as we were convinced it was going to be "squid" especially as it had a sort of soft squishyness to it. It came in a plastic hat shape container. Our 1st problem was we didnt know how to open it and couldnt find any instructions. By the time i had found a video online B had hacked at it with scissors and a knife! You are meant to bit part of it and it then pops open! B's version worked just as well!
Inside was what looked like mochi (YUK!) it had a soft squishy foam like texture we pulled it apart so we could both try a bit and there was a pink jelly inside. The texture was strange, it wasnt exactly sticky but left a residue. The taste was bland.
We wouldn't eat again.
