Anpan biscuits (Japan)

 Anpan Bisuits (Japan)

These biscuits were a "pot luck"thing as not a single word on the packet is in english, we went by image only. They were bought in the Chinese supermarket in Manchester.

The picture shows little bread balls with a gooey center and ice cream in the background. So we assumed they were ice-cream flavoured filling.

When you open the box there is a sealed foil packet. When you open the packet there is a very strong smell of alcohol! The texture of them is a small hard dough ball and the inside isn't a soft cream filling but quite hard, they have something on the top of them but it isnt sesame seeds (or any seed for that matter).

Although they were unusual i actually liked them, B didnt like them at all. I would buy and eat again.

Upon doing a google lens and translate (after i had eaten the box full) it turns out that they DO CONTAIN ALCOHOL! the creme filling is alcohol.
